New Album Update

Greetings. Here’s the latest dope on the new record………I currently have keeper bass and drum tracks for about 75% of the songs and have started recording final vocals on about half of those. Keyboard tracks are mostly complete, as well. That leaves a lengthy day of recording guitar with Greg Kettinger at SpectraSound Studios sometime in the near future. Saxophonist Tyrone Fredericks, Jr. and trumpet player Marcell Bellinger will be recording parts in their respective home studios and sending them to me a short while after Greg is finished. After that will be some additional keyboard dubs, backing vocals, accessory percussion and some extra drippings that glue everything together. Mixing and mastering will occur at SpectraSound with Jim McGee. Also, I finally have a title!! This is usually something that comes rather easily but, this time, not so much. Anyway, the title of the record is “I Will Be Free.” This is inspired by my own journey exploring personal freedom. You can count on my usual acerbic and cathartic lyrics focusing on injustice, protest, hypocrisy and, ultimately, hope. Here’s the track list. Fans should know that these are all newer, never-recorded tracks:
